Owensville, Ohio
Owensville, Ohio, was originally established as a settlement called Boston in 1836, located on land granted to Dr. Richard Allison, the first U.S. Surgeon General and a Revolutionary War veteran. In 1832, a post office named Owensville was established, and the village was officially platted under that name in 1836. The village has been hosting the Clermont County Fair since 1864.
