Montgomery, Ohio
Montgomery, Ohio, was founded in 1795 by settlers from Kentucky and New York, making it one of the oldest communities in Hamilton County. Originally a small farming village along an early stagecoach route, it developed as a key stop between Cincinnati and northern settlements. Throughout the 19th century, Montgomery retained its rural charm while slowly expanding. In the mid-20th century, suburban growth transformed it into a thriving residential community. Incorporated as a city in 1971, Montgomery is now known for its preserved historic district, excellent schools, and strong sense of community blending tradition with modern living.
